Dr. Meenakshi Singh, MD
Dr. Singh is a board-certified family practice physician. She received her medical degree from Lady Hardinge Medical College in 1995 and a post-graduate diploma in tuberculosis and chest diseases from V. P. Chest Institute in 1999, both at the University of Delhi, India.
After completing medical residency in family medicine in 2006 at AnMed Hospital in Anderson, SC, she worked as the Primary Care Services Chief at Patrick B. Harris Psychiatric Hospital. In 2012, she moved to Columbia with her family. In fall 2014, she took over the practice of Dr. Alice Brooks MD, who retired after many years of service to the community.
Dr. Singh's role as a physician extends not only to the diagnosis and treatment of chronic and acute conditions, but also preventive care and counsel.
Dr. Singh is married to Rajendra Singh, PhD, who teaches at the University of South Carolina. They have two daughters.
